Plot Traps is a collection of essays on 15 different plot elements common to role- playing games. This collection is ideal for the New GM trying to figure out ways to incorporate fantasy tropes into their games.
Each Element has a brief explanation of what it is, variations on that theme, Essential Components, and ideas on how to avoid turning it into a plot trap. Also included with teach chapter is at least one example of the Plot Element ready to be worked in to your game (with some name changes).
